A small hospital in South Texas is seeking a Per Diem pharmacist to provide coverage for shifts and on-call support. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care in a focused hospital setting, serving from Monday through Friday with weekend on-call responsibilities.

Location:

• Rio Grande City, TX

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday shifts between March 4th and March 8th, with training on March 2nd and 3rd
• On-call coverage for Saturday and Sunday following the assigned workweek

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to hospital patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal pharmacological care
• Manage on-call duties by addressing urgent medication-related issues during weekends
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy license in Texas
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred
