Per Diem Pharmacist | Rio Grande City, Texas

A Per Diem pharmacist position is available to provide coverage and on-call support at a small hospital in South Texas. This role supports the hospital's pharmacy team during a scheduled assignment from early March, with training starting prior to the coverage dates.

Location:

• Rio Grande City, TX

Schedule:

• Training: March 2-3
• Coverage: March 4-8, Monday through Friday
• On-call: Saturday and Sunday during the coverage week

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely according to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care.
• Provide on-call pharmacy support during the weekend following the coverage week.
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas pharmacist license required.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Availability to work the specified dates and participate in training.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
