Pharmacist - Rolla, Missouri

Join a healthcare facility in Rolla, MO, supporting a 250-bed hospital as a Pharmacist on a contract basis with potential for temp-to-hire. This role focuses on ensuring medication safety and effective pharmacy operations through medication order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, participating in pharmacokinetic dosing, and collaborating with physicians and nurses.

• Rolla, MO

Schedule:

• 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Monday to Sunday rotation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments to optimize patient dosing
• Partner with healthcare teams including physicians and nurses to provide medication consultations
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory standards

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
• Experience working with EPIC and Omnicell systems preferred
• Competency in order verification and medication safety practices
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to manage staff effectively while maintaining high-quality patient care
