Per Diem Pharmacist in Roma, TX

A healthcare facility in South Texas is seeking a PRN pharmacist to provide coverage for shifts and on-call duties at a small hospital. This per diem opportunity is ideal for pharmacists licensed in Texas with some hospital experience who are available for the specified assignment dates.

Location:

• Roma, TX

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday shifts during the assignment week
• On-call coverage Saturday and Sunday
• Training provided starting 3/2 for two days prior to assignment (3/4 – 3/8)

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications accurately and safely according to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Manage medication inventories and maintain proper documentation
• Be available for on-call duties during weekends of the assignment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Texas pharmacist license is required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to adapt to a small hospital environment and work independently
