Hospital Pharmacist Inpatient Pharmacy

Join a respected pediatric hospital in Boston as an Inpatient Pharmacist on a full-time contract assignment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist looking to work in a collaborative clinical environment while supporting high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications for hospitalized patients.
• Ensure safe and accurate medication therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor medication orders for appropriateness, dosing, and drug interactions.
• Document pharmacy interventions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Utilize EPIC for medication management and documentation.

Work Hours

• Full-time
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 3+ months
• Schedule: To be determined

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Inpatient pharmacy experience required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent.
• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License in good standing.
