A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a pharmacist to support a 150-bed community hospital in Nacogdoches, TX. This role offers the chance to engage in critical pharmaceutical care in a collaborative hospital environment.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring safety and accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficiency and compliance
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize systems such as Cerner and Omnicell to manage pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong expertise with IV admixture preparation and safety
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems preferred
