Urgent Need for Per Diem Pharmacists in Northern California

We are seeking 2-3 experienced pharmacists to provide per diem coverage at multiple retail pharmacy locations throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. This role offers flexible, as-needed shifts averaging 1-2 per week, ideal for pharmacists currently working part-time or looking to supplement their schedule.

Location:

• Sacramento, CA, with travel required to surrounding areas within Northern California.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality pharmacy services including dispensing medications and counseling patients.
• Manage pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems such as McKesson's Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 efficiently.
• Provide support across various client sites including well-established retail chains.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience with pharmacy opening and closing duties.
• Ability to manage and work alongside pharmacy technicians.
• Willingness to commute within the Northern California area; mileage reimbursement available for travel beyond 30 miles one way.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
