Per Diem Pharmacist in Sacramento, CA

Seeking experienced pharmacists to provide per diem coverage across multiple Northern California locations, including Sacramento, the Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California regions such as Redding and Chico. This role suits professionals looking to supplement their current schedules with 1-2 shifts per week on average.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality pharmacy services on an as-needed basis in retail settings.
• Perform pharmacy opening and closing duties efficiently and accurately.
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians during shifts.
• Administer immunizations in compliance with certification standards.
• Utilize McKesson Enterprise (ERx) software for prescription processing and record keeping.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to open and close a pharmacy.
• Experience managing pharmacy technicians preferred.
• Immunization certification mandatory.
• Comfortable commuting and willing to travel within the specified regions.
• Familiarity with McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software strongly preferred.

Additional Information:

• Per diem schedule offers flexibility and can complement part-time work.
• Mileage reimbursement available for travel exceeding 30 miles one way.
