A pharmacy professional role is available for two full-time night pharmacists at a 200-bed medical center in Tucson, AZ. This 13-week contract position offers the opportunity to support patient care through expert medication management in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians regarding drug therapy and dosing adjustments
• Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medications and safe practices
• Lead medication safety initiatives ensuring compliance and best practices
• Review patient profiles to identify potential adverse drug reactions and ensure accurate reporting
• Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements following protocols
• Maintain narcotic accountability in accordance with regulatory standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active credentials appropriate for hospital settings
• Experience in acute care hospital pharmacy required, preferably in night shift roles
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient in medication safety standards and monitoring systems
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while providing high-quality pharmaceutical care

Schedule and Location:

• Shift: 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off
• Scheduled Wednesday through Tuesday nights
