Pharmacist | Saint Paul, Minnesota

This role offers the opportunity to provide critical overnight pharmacy support in a long-term care setting, ensuring medication safety and effective supervision during nighttime hours. The position involves working a 7-on/7-off schedule, covering from 9 PM to 7 AM, Tuesday through Monday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight pharmacist coverage, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication dispensing.
• Supervise pharmacy staff during overnight shifts to maintain operational efficiency.
• Perform final verifications (PV2) of medication orders and prescriptions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care during nighttime hours.

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience; preference given to candidates with long-term care experience.
• Experience with Framework pharmacy software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and manage staff effectively.
