A specialty pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support their long-term care services. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your expertise in a focused pharmacy setting, contributing to comprehensive patient care through specialized medication management.

Location:

• Saint Peter, MN

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Some weekends required
• 24 to 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee long-term care pharmacy operations ensuring safe and effective medication dispensing
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy plans for chronic conditions
• Provide patient counseling and education on medication use and management
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory requirements
• Participate in immunization administration and other clinical services as applicable

Desired Qualifications:

• PharmD degree or equivalent clinical pharmacy training
• Immunization Certification preferred
• CPR Certification required
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of long-term care pharmacy practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
