A healthcare facility in St Charles, MO is seeking a Pharmacist to provide crucial inpatient behavioral health coverage. This per diem role offers the opportunity to support patient care with a focus on clinical accuracy and medication safety.

Location: St Charles, MO
Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid meal break
• Coverage dates include August 6, 7, and August 10 through 14

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in an inpatient behavioral health setting
• Utilize Omnicell systems for medication management and restocking
• Repackage medications using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems
• Perform regular inventory checks and load drugs into automated dispensing machines
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure proper medication use and patient safety

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License
• Experience with Omnicell or similar automated dispensing systems preferred
• Familiarity with medication repackaging techniques (Milt, Medi-dose, HCL)
• Basic skills in managing drug inventories and restocking procedures
• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment in a hospital setting
