Provide essential support as a PRN Staff Pharmacist for a specialized pharmacy serving hospice and palliative care patients in San Antonio, Texas. This role offers day-shift coverage on an as-needed basis to backfill for the Pharmacist in Charge during vacations and planned absences, contributing to the smooth operation of a new pharmacy focusing on specialty infusion services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate dispensing and medication management tailored to hospice and palliative care patients.
• Work collaboratively within a small pharmacy team to maintain high-quality patient care.
• Participate in a mandatory training day before initial coverage shifts to ensure readiness.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule aligned with the Pharmacy in Charge's vacation and time-away plans.
• Uphold all regulatory and safety standards in dispensing specialty infusion medications.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing is required.
• Prior experience in specialty or infusion pharmacy strongly preferred.
• Background in hospice or palliative care pharmacy is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a PRN capacity through the remainder of 2026.

Schedule:
