Schedule & Hours:
- 7pm to 7am, 12-hour shifts
- 7 days on, 7 days off
- Immediate start
- 13-week assignment
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying medication orders promptly and accurately
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations
- Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
- Applying pharmacokinetic principles to individualize medication therapy
- Utilizing Cerner for electronic health records and medication management
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Pharmacist license
- Hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
