Clinical Pharmacist Per Diem, Inpatient Hospital

Soliant is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist for a short-term, 3-week inpatient assignment in a scenic mountain community in Southern California! This is a great opportunity to step in and cover for the facility's sole Pharmacist/PIC while enjoying a beautiful, laid-back setting.

This role works a Monday–Friday day shift (9:00 AM–5:00 PM), with on-call coverage for weekends/after-hours (calls are infrequent).

Responsibilities:

• Verify and review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety
• Compound sterile medications as needed (IV admixtures, unit dose medication) — no chemo/hazardous drugs at this site
• Respond to ER codes as needed (infrequent)
• Ensure regulatory compliance with hospital policies and state/federal laws
• Monitor patient medication therapy and provide clinical recommendations to physicians and nurses
• May assist with filling Pyxis machines at nearby family health centers

Qualifications:

• Active and clear California Pharmacist License required
• 2+ years of inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Ability to work all required on-call hours required

Experience:

• Experience with CPSI/Evident/Pyxis preferred (training provided if not)
• Experience working as the sole pharmacist in a clinical setting preferred

Work Hours:

Monday–Friday day shift, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
On-call weekends/after-hours

Pay: $75–$79/hr

Contract Length: 3-week assignment
