Pharmacist in San Carlos, AZ

A tribal clinic and hospital in Arizona is seeking two full-time pharmacists for contract positions. These roles offer the chance to provide essential pharmacy services in a unique, remote setting in San Carlos, AZ.

Positions Available:

• Outpatient Clinic Pharmacist
• Night Shift Emergency Department Pharmacist (requires clinical experience and willingness to obtain BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications). This is a true decentralized ED pharmacist role.

Key Qualifications:

• Any pharmacist license accepted; Arizona license not required due to tribal facility status
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience or completion of a residency preferred
• Positive attitude and adaptability to a remote tribal healthcare environment
• Clinical experience required for the Emergency Department position
• Willingness to obtain BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications for ED role

Schedule:

• Typically 10-hour shifts, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Technology:

• Experience or ability to learn RPMS (a proprietary clinical system similar to the VA’s VistA) is essential

Housing:

• Affordable on-campus shared housing available at approximately $400/month
• Apartments accommodate three people with private bedrooms and shared bathrooms and kitchens; housing is non-coed
