Per Diem Pharmacist | San Francisco, California

This per diem pharmacy position offers the opportunity to provide essential pharmaceutical care within a health clinic environment serving a vulnerable patient population. The role involves typical retail pharmacy duties with an emphasis on supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure effective and accurate medication dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standard retail pharmacy functions, including prescription verification and dispensing
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily tasks
• Utilize New Leaf pharmacy system for prescription processing and record management
• Maintain a patient-centered approach with sensitivity and patience towards the clinic’s vulnerable population
• Collaborate with clinic health professionals to support patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Ability to effectively supervise pharmacy technicians
• Strong interpersonal skills with an open-minded and compassionate approach
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems, preferably New Leaf

Location:

• San Francisco, CA (Equity Health SOMA Health Clinic)

Schedule:

• Per diem coverage on a semi-regular basis as needed
