Pharmacist - San Francisco, CA

This position is for a Pharmacist role within a busy hospital environment located in San Francisco, CA. The assignment is a contract position lasting 13 weeks or longer, with an ASAP start date.

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons
• Mostly 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Consulting with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Utilizing electronic systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license is preferred
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
