Travel Pharmacist - San Luis Obispo, CA

Four travel pharmacist opportunities are available on the Central Coast in San Luis Obispo, CA, supporting a hospital setting with a 13-week plus assignment. Positions include two day shift roles working four 10-hour days per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) and two night shift roles on a 7-on, 7-off schedule (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Candidates should be prepared for an ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow
• Pharmacist consultation with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Monitoring pharmacokinetics and other clinical responsibilities
• Utilizing IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
