Seeking 4 experienced Travel Pharmacists to support healthcare operations on the Central Coast of California in San Luis Obispo. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic inpatient setting with a respected healthcare provider.
Assignments include:
- 2 Pharmacists for Day Shifts: Four 10-hour days per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 2 Pharmacists for Night Shifts: Seven days on, seven days off, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
This role is an excellent fit for pharmacists ready to start immediately and commit to a 13+ week travel assignment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting order verification and ensuring medication accuracy
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
- Applying pharmacokinetics principles in medication management
Technology utilized includes Cerner and Omnicell, so familiarity with these systems is beneficial.
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid California pharmacist license
- Minimum of one year recent inpatient experience to confidently manage hospital pharmacy operations
