Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks+
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

• 2 Pharmacists needed for Day Shifts: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 2 Pharmacists needed for Night Shifts: Seven days on, seven days off, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow optimization
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapy management
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient care
• Utilize pharmacy systems including Cerner and Omnicell for medication management

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of current inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
• Adaptability to fast-paced hospital pharmacy settings
