A pharmacist role is available in Grants, NM, offering a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $135,000 to $168,000. This position involves key responsibilities centered on patient safety, medication management, and departmental oversight within a hospital pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, fill, label, and dispense medications including parenteral and IV solutions, ensuring compliance with legal and quality standards.
• Monitor and evaluate patient drug therapies for safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness, providing clinical guidance to healthcare providers.
• Maintain pharmacy operations including drug inventory management and departmental record-keeping.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and participate in formulary management alongside pharmacy leadership.
• Engage in emergency response initiatives such as Rapid Response Teams and Code Blue situations.
• Uphold quality, compliance, and professional development standards, including participation in continuing education and adherence to organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Current, active New Mexico pharmacy license.
• Preferred 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience; new graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered.
• Strong clinical knowledge with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and automated dispensing technology.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, lift up to 40 pounds, and comfortably stand or walk for 4–8 hours while operating pharmacy equipment.
