Pharmacist in Sanford, FL

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to work in a dynamic institutional pharmacy setting serving Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation Centers, and Assisted Living Communities. The role is based in Sanford, FL (North Orlando area) and offers a temp-to-hire position with an immediate start.

Work Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, typically 4:00 pm to 2:00 am
• Every other weekend includes a day shift from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm
• Flexibility to shorten shifts if preferred (evening shift: 6:00 pm to 2:00 am; weekend day shift: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and dispense unit-dose medications tailored to facility needs
• Collaborate closely with Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers’ staff to ensure medication accuracy and safety
• Utilize bi-directional electronic medical record interfaces to manage and document pharmaceutical services
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license in the state of Florida
• Experience in institutional pharmacy or healthcare pharmacy settings preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and pharmacy software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
