A pharmacist position is available in Sanford, FL (North Orlando) on a temp-to-hire basis with an immediate start. This role offers the opportunity to work within a specialized institutional pharmacy serving skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living facilities. The pharmacy emphasizes individualized patient care through unit-dose medication systems and integration with electronic medical records for streamlined operations.

Shift Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• Every other weekend, a day shift from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Option to adjust shifts to 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM or 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM for weekend coverage

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in a long-term care setting
• Provide pharmaceutical care and medication counseling tailored to resident needs
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure proper medication management and compliance
• Utilize electronic medical records and pharmacy software interfaces to maintain patient profiles and documentation
• Monitor drug utilization and recommend therapeutic alternatives as necessary

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current and valid pharmacist licensure
