A hospital-based pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract in Santa Cruz, CA, requiring inpatient experience and California licensure. This role involves an engaging 5 days per week schedule with 8-hour shifts, including variable afternoons and some weekends, offering a dynamic work pattern to support hospital pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, guiding daily workflow
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Utilize Cerner for electronic health records and medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability and flexibility with scheduling
• Ability to work within established budgetary guidelines

Schedule/Hours:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Variable days and afternoon shifts
