Schedule/Hours:
- 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
- Variable days and afternoon shifts
- Some weekend work required
Responsibilities:
- Perform order verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing and administration
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient medication management
- Utilize the Cerner system for medication management and documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements within the pharmacy setting
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid California pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Full-time availability to accommodate variable schedules
