We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week hospital assignment in California. This opportunity offers a full-time schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts and the chance to work alongside a collaborative healthcare team in an acute care setting. 

The ideal candidate will have recent inpatient hospital experience, strong clinical skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic pharmacy environment.

Position Details

13-Week Contract Assignment
ASAP Start
Inpatient Hospital Setting
Full-Time Schedule (5 x 8-Hour Shifts Weekly)
Pharmacy System: Cerner

Responsibilities

Verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
Review patient profiles and identify potential drug interactions
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
Provide clinical consultation and drug information support

Required Qualifications

Active California Pharmacist License
Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Experience with medication order verification
Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Cerner
Previous travel or contract pharmacy experience
Experience supervising pharmacy technicians
Strong acute care hospital experience
