Travel Pharmacist in Santa Maria, CA

A rewarding opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists seeking travel assignments on the California Central Coast. Locations & Schedule:

• Two Day Shift Positions: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Two Night Shift Positions: Seven days on, seven days off (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• San Luis Obispo, CA area

Assignment Details:

• Immediate start preferred
• Minimum 13-week duration
• Utilization of Cerner electronic health records and Omnicell automation systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consult effectively with physicians and nursing staff on medication management
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments and clinical evaluations
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems is advantageous
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
