Pharmacist - Santa Maria, CA

This opportunity is for a pharmacist position providing services to a facility with 60 acute care beds and over 100 long-term care beds. The role begins as soon as possible and spans 13 weeks on a contract basis.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nursing staff, and applying pharmacokinetic principles. The position utilizes the Altera Sunrise IT system, a less common platform, with full training provided.

Ideal candidates hold a current California pharmacist license and possess recent hospital experience. The schedule consists of variable days and afternoon shifts, working four 10-hour days per week.
