A Pharmacist opportunity is available in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and rehabilitation hospital setting in downtown Los Angeles, close to Dodger Stadium. This role involves working with a patient population that includes many individuals on ventilators, offering a dynamic and clinically engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Consulting with physicians on medication therapies and patient care
  • Applying pharmacokinetics principles to optimize dosing and treatment plans

Qualifications:

  • Active California Pharmacist license is required
  • Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings preferred, with knowledge of LTAC/Rehab environments a plus
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Local candidates or those able to commute to downtown Los Angeles are ideal

Schedule and Contract Details:

  • Work schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week
  • Position offered on a month-to-month contract basis with the possibility of Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday shifts

This role is suitable for pharmacists looking to contribute their expertise in a specialized hospital setting while benefiting from a flexible contract arrangement. Immediate availability to start the week of June 1 is preferred.
