Urgent openings for experienced pharmacists to provide per diem coverage in the Bay Area/Northern California region. We are seeking 2-3 skilled professionals ready to support multiple retail pharmacy locations on an as-needed basis. This role offers the opportunity to work flexible shifts that typically range from 1-2 per week, making it a great option for those currently working part-time or looking to supplement their schedule.

Location:

  • Santa Rosa, CA, with travel required to locations throughout the Bay Area/Northern California.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional pharmacy services including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Open and close pharmacy operations efficiently.
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Utilize pharmacy software like McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 in daily tasks.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
  • Comfort with opening and closing pharmacy responsibilities.
  • Proven experience managing pharmacy technicians.
  • Flexibility to commute within the Northern California Bay Area.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
