Per Diem Pharmacist | Santa Rosa, California

An immediate opening is available for experienced pharmacists to provide per diem coverage across multiple pharmacy locations in the Bay Area and Northern California region. This role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience, who are seeking flexible, part-time shifts and are willing to commute within the area.

• Location: Santa Rosa, CA (with travel to surrounding Bay Area/Northern California retail pharmacy sites)
• Job Type: Per diem, as-needed shifts averaging 1-2 per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical care, including dispensing prescriptions and counseling patients
• Assist with opening and closing pharmacies, ensuring all protocols are followed
• Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians during shifts
• Utilize pharmacy software systems such as McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 to manage prescriptions and inventory
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with managing pharmacy staff and store operations (opening/closing)
• Proficient with pharmacy software systems, especially McKesson Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30
• Must be willing to commute around the Bay Area/Northern California region, with mileage reimbursement provided for travel over 30 miles one way
