A temporary pharmacist position is available to provide relief coverage in New Paltz, NY, supporting daily pharmacy operations during recruitment and staff absences. This assignment offers 20–40 hours per week with standard weekday hours and no weekend shifts, running approximately from July 15 through August 21.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pharmacist coverage ensuring safe and accurate prescription verification
  • Support overall pharmacy workflow and enhance patient care services
  • Assist with specialty pharmacy procedures as needed
  • Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active New York Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Preferred experience in specialty pharmacy settings
  • Strong clinical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt in a low-volume pharmacy environment
  • Professional, dependable, and effective communication skills
