Pharmacist - Sauk Rapids, MN

A Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for an ongoing contract position located in Cold Spring, MN. This role focuses on providing expert pharmaceutical care in a specialty setting with an emphasis on Long Term Care and Retail Pharmacy responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a specialty pharmacy environment
• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to long term care and retail patients
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy
• Maintain precise records and documentation for all pharmaceutical activities

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or current MTM (Medication Therapy Management) certification
• Valid pharmacist license in the state of Minnesota
• Immunization Certification and CPR certification required
• Experience working in both long term care and retail pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety
