Per Diem Pharmacist - Schaumburg, IL

A pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist for per diem (PRN) shifts on February 16 and 17, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with specialty or oncology pharmacy experience, though strong retail pharmacy backgrounds will also be considered.

Location: Schaumburg, IL, with the site specifically located at 8915 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently within a specialty or oncology pharmacy setting.
• Utilize Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR to manage prescriptions and patient records.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers regarding medication therapy.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid, clear, and active Illinois pharmacy license.
• Specialty or oncology pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR.
• Strong retail pharmacy experience with excellent attention to detail and communication skills will also be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Per diem (PRN) shifts on February 16 and 17.
• Shift hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
