Pharmacist - Schofield, WI

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a rehabilitation hospital setting. This role focuses on afternoon and evening shifts, providing crucial pharmaceutical care in a 30-bed rehab facility with an average daily census of 28 patients.

Location:

• Schofield, WI area (serving Wausau, WI)

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Shift hours approximately 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM (negotiable)
• Weekend, after-hours, and on-call responsibilities shared with the pharmacy manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy services during afternoon and evening hours in a rehab hospital environment
• Collaborate with a pharmacy team currently consisting of 2 pharmacists and 1 technician
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy information system and Pyxis automation system efficiently
• Perform limited IV compounding (no chemotherapy involved)
• Participate in on-call duties as backup support alongside Cardinal Health Remote Order Entry Service

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed and experienced pharmacist with skills in rehab hospital pharmacy settings preferred
• Familiarity with pharmacy automation technologies such as Pyxis
• Proficiency in IV compounding techniques
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small pharmacy team
• Comfort with remote order entry support coordination and shared on-call coverage
