Per Diem Pharmacist | Scottsdale, Arizona

This per diem role offers pharmacists the opportunity to provide essential pharmacy services in a retail setting located in Scottsdale, AZ. Working alongside a pharmacy team including one pharmacist and three technicians, you will dispense medication accurately, verify patient allergies, and address patient inquiries with professionalism and care. The workload involves handling under 100 prescriptions daily using the Pioneer Rx system.

Schedule and Hours:

• 5 days of coverage plus training
• 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Verify patient allergies and medication profiles to ensure safe dispensing
• Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational guidelines
• Deliver excellent customer service that fosters patient trust and satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license issued by the State of Arizona
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, preferably Pioneer Rx
