Schedule:
- Variable days and afternoons
- 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders using Epic system
- Perform final product verification checks to ensure accuracy and safety
- Respond to clinical inquiries and provide drug information
- Supervise pharmacy technician activities
- Participate in Code Blue and emergency response efforts
- Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis to support pharmacy operations
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with experience in inpatient hospital settings
- Proficient in Epic and Pyxis systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication distribution and verification processes
- Ability to manage clinical questions effectively and oversee technician functions
- Experience participating in emergency response teams is a plus
