Pharmacist in Seattle, WA

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in Seattle, WA. This position offers a 16-week contract with potential for Temp-to-Hire, starting ASAP. Candidates should be prepared to work variable days or afternoon shifts, each lasting 8 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification utilizing EPIC systems
• Conduct final product verification checks
• Provide responses to clinical questions and drug information inquiries
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities to ensure smooth distribution functions
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations
• Utilize technologies including EPIC and Pyxis effectively to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Washington State pharmacist license is required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience essential for success in this role
• Ability to work full-time with immediate availability
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage pharmacy distribution workflows efficiently
