Pharmacist - Seattle, Washington

An immediate opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in Seattle, WA. This 16-week contract role offers a unique schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, specifically from approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with potential for temp-to-hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct order verification using Epic to ensure accuracy and safety
• Perform final product verification checks before medication dispensing
• Respond to clinical inquiries and provide comprehensive drug information
• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technician functions within the inpatient setting
• Participate actively in Code Blue and emergency response protocols
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis effectively for daily pharmacy operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid Washington State pharmacist license
• Immediate and full-time availability
• Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment is essential
• Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
