Pharmacist - Seattle, Washington

This opportunity is for a skilled pharmacist to provide critical support within an inpatient pharmacy setting in Seattle, WA. The position involves a contract engagement with an immediate start, spanning approximately 16 weeks with potential for temp-to-hire conversion. The role is scheduled for nights, working 7 consecutive days on followed by 7 days off, typically from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders accurately utilizing Epic systems.
• Perform final product verification checks ensuring compliance and safety.
• Address clinical inquiries and provide drug information to healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technician activities to maintain streamlined operations.
• Participate in emergency response situations, including Code Blue events.
• Utilize IT systems such as Epic and Pyxis effectively in daily duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Washington State pharmacist license is required.
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience with knowledge of inpatient distribution processes.
• Ability to work full-time with immediate availability.
• Comfortable working night shift schedule.
