A specialized pharmacist role is available to enhance the operations within a specialty/oncology infusion pharmacy setting. This position involves a variety of clinical and supervisory responsibilities aimed at ensuring the highest quality in medication distribution and safety.

Location: Bellevue, WA (suburb of Seattle)
Type: Contract (16+ weeks)
Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify orders using Epic software with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Conduct final product verification checks to maintain safety and compliance
  • Provide expert answers to clinical questions and drug information inquiries
  • Oversee pharmacy technician activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and efficiency
  • Support distribution processes within the specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy
  • Float to Seattle location as needed to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Washington
  • Experience working in infusion or oncology pharmacy settings preferred
  • Proficient with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems
  • Solid understanding of USP 797 and 800 standards related to sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling
