A specialty/oncology infusion pharmacy seeks a licensed Pharmacist to support critical distribution functions during a 16+ week assignment in Bellevue, WA, a suburb of Seattle. This role is pivotal in ensuring safe and accurate medication management within a dynamic infusion pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify orders using Epic pharmacy system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Perform final product verification checks to guarantee medication accuracy and safety.
  • Provide clinical guidance by answering drug information questions from healthcare teams.
  • Oversee and direct pharmacy technician activities to maintain workflow efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate within the infusion team to uphold USP 797 and USP 800 standards.
  • Flexibility to float to the Seattle location as operational needs arise.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Pharmacist license.
  • Experience in infusion pharmacy, preferably with oncology medications.
  • Proficient in Epic pharmacy system and Pyxis automated dispensing.
  • Strong understanding of USP 797 and USP 800 sterile compounding requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate technician functions and support patient care.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, day shifts.
