Pharmacist - Seguin, TX

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with hospital experience who thrives in dynamic settings and enjoys collaborative patient care. You will work within a healthcare team, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and management, while utilizing advanced systems and sterile compounding techniques.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing and verifying medications accurately using EPIC and Pyxis systems
• Preparing and mixing sterile compounds as required, maintaining strict aseptic techniques
• Monitoring patient pharmacokinetics and adjusting medication regimens accordingly
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current pharmacist license in Texas
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience
• Certification in IV admixture and sterile compounding procedures
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis medication management systems
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be submitted with application)
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and medication monitoring

Schedule and location:

• Based in Seguin, TX
• Rotating shifts: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

This contract position is expected to last 13 weeks or longer, with an immediate start preferred. Candidates should be ready to adapt to varying shifts and contribute effectively within a fast-paced clinical environment.
