A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available for June at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy environment. This position offers weekday hours with no weekends or holidays, providing a balanced work schedule.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (lunch 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Specific dates: June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications and prescription orders for patient pickup or delivery.
  • Oversee ordering of pharmacy equipment and supplies.
  • Manage inventory control, ensuring proper storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Verify prescription accuracy in collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Maintain approval and monitoring of drug lists, including expiration tracking.
  • Monitor product displays and maintain the pharmacy’s appearance.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Keep detailed records of inventory, patient data, and insurance documentation.
  • Maintain retail pharmacy operations.
  • Provide telepharmacy support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to support staff needs and pharmacy progress.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing pharmacy services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verified)
  • Immunization license required
  • Submission of resume, skills checklist, and professional references
  • Experience with Liberty RX software preferred
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
