A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available for June at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a community-focused environment, utilizing your expertise in pharmacy operations and patient care. The schedule provides work Monday through Friday with no holidays or weekends, suitable for professionals seeking daytime hours.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
- Dates: June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery
- Oversee ordering of pharmacy equipment and supplies
- Control inventory and ensure proper storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances following best practices
- Verify prescription details with healthcare providers when necessary
- Maintain and monitor approved drug lists and expiry dates
- Manage product displays and overall pharmacy appearance to ensure compliance and professionalism
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Keep accurate records of inventory, patient information, and insurance claims
- Provide telepharmacy support as needed
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager on staff progress and pharmacy needs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Indiana Pharmacist license with verification
- Valid immunization license
- Submission of resume, skills checklist, and professional references
- Experience with Liberty RX software preferred
- Spanish language skills considered a strong asset
