An opportunity is available for a pharmacist to provide per diem pharmacy services from October 5th through 9th at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operating a 340B pharmacy. This role requires working in a dynamic healthcare environment using Liberty RX software to support pharmacy operations and patient care.

Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing prescription orders for pickup or delivery, overseeing equipment and supply orders, and controlling inventory with strict adherence to best practice protocols for storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances. The pharmacist will verify prescription details with healthcare providers as needed and maintain comprehensive records of inventory, patient information, and insurance claims. Additional duties include monitoring product displays, maintaining the retail pharmacy appearance, addressing customer requests and complaints, and providing telepharmacy support.

Collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager will be essential to ensure the pharmacy staff’s progress and needs are addressed. The pharmacist must ensure all services comply with state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, verified Indiana Pharmacist license
  • Immunization license required
  • Experience with Liberty RX software preferred
  • Resume, skills checklist, and references required
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus to support a diverse patient population
