Pharmacist in Shafter, CA

Key responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication use
• Managing prescription orders using Cerner pharmacy IT systems
• Providing counseling and information to patients regarding their prescriptions and treatments
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license and credentials
• Proficiency in pharmacy operations and dispensing protocols
• Experience with Cerner IT systems is highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Schedule and Location:

• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week
• Position is based in Bakersfield, CA, supporting a hospital in the surrounding region
