A contract opportunity is available for two experienced pharmacists to provide essential support during an EMR conversion project. This role involves temporarily assisting with daily pharmacy operations while the permanent pharmacy team focuses on implementing and troubleshooting the transition from Cerner to EPIC software systems.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the pharmacy team by managing day-to-day pharmacy workflows during the EMR transition.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless medication management and patient safety.
- Assist in troubleshooting and adapting to the new EPIC system as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation and adhere to all institutional policies.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current, valid credentials.
- Experience working in a pharmacy setting, preferably within hospital or clinical environments.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, especially Cerner and EPIC, is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
