Pharmacist | Shafter, California

Support the transition to a new electronic medical records (EMR) system with an important pharmacist role focused on an EPIC conversion project. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced pharmacists ready to contribute their Cerner and EPIC EMR expertise to a dynamic healthcare setting.

Location: Shafter, CA
Job Type: Contract (8 weeks)
Schedule:

• Evenings, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Ability to work 48 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily pharmacy staffing coverage during evening shifts
• Support permanent staff by managing routine pharmacy operations as they implement and troubleshoot the new EPIC EMR system
• Ensure smooth workflow and patient safety throughout the software transition
• Participate in orientation sessions scheduled for August 3rd or August 17th

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• BLS certification required
• Experience working with both Cerner and EPIC EMR systems within the last 5 years
• Previous experience as an employee or completion of a contract involving Cerner and EPIC systems
• Ability to work extended evening shifts and meet the 48-hour workweek requirement
