Pharmacist | Shallowater, Texas

A pediatric-focused opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support a children’s hospital setting in Shallowater, TX. This position offers a unique schedule with a night shift assignment starting ASAP on a 6-month contract. The role entails a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation, working 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM hours. Around July/August, there will be a transition to a day shift role to cover FMLA through mid-January 2027.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective medication management for pediatric inpatients
• Use EPIC and Pyxis systems to accurately verify, process, and dispense medications
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor drug therapies and ensure compliance with hospital protocols

Desired Experience:

• Active Texas pharmacist license
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably in pediatrics
• Comfortable working with EPIC and Pyxis software platforms
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining vigilance and accuracy
