LTC Pharmacist - Shawnee, Kansas

An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to join a long-term care (LTC) and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD) pharmacy located in Shawnee, KS. This direct hire position offers the chance to contribute to specialized pharmacy services within a supportive environment. The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and occasional Saturdays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform primary verification duties (PV2), including checking and verifying prescriptions
• Train in PV1 tasks depending on aptitude and experience
• Manage workflow efficiently to accommodate high volume of prescriptions
• Utilize the Frameworks pharmacy system in daily operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Connecticut Pharmacist License in hand (required)
• Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacists with strong volume management skills welcome
• Ability to work flexible shifts: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; some Saturday availability required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification
