An opportunity is available for an Inpatient Night Pharmacist at a leading 359-bed Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital known for its progressive approach and advanced pediatric care. This hospital is one of the largest pediatric medical providers in the country and features a Level 4 NICU. The facility offers a fast-paced, team-oriented culture and state-of-the-art resources, making it an ideal environment for pharmacy professionals who thrive in dynamic settings.

This position requires a minimum of two years of inpatient pharmacy experience with a focus on intravenous (IV) therapy; either experience or IV certification is mandatory. Candidates must test negative for nicotine prior to employment. The role offers a night shift schedule with two options to accommodate different preferences:

  • Primary Schedule: Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Alternative Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Weekend Option: Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
  • Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off starting Thursday night for the primary schedule
  • No on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting, preparing and verifying IV medications, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to support patient outcomes in a trauma and teaching hospital environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) with active credentials
  • Minimum 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience
  • IV experience or certification is required
  • Ability to work night shifts and follow a 7-on/7-off rotation schedule
  • Must test negative for nicotine
