A travel opportunity is available for a skilled retail pharmacist to provide essential pharmaceutical services in a community health facility in Shickley, NE. Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and ensure appropriate stock management.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on drug therapy decisions, including dosages and managing side effects.
• Conduct medication use reviews and educate patients on proper drug use.
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws, including Nebraska pharmacy regulations.
• Mentor pharmacy and healthcare students, providing practical and educational guidance.
• Participate in facility meetings and committees as needed.
• Provide consulting services to contracted long-term care facilities monthly.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school and current Nebraska pharmacist license.
• PharmD preferred.
• Minimum of three years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
