Pharmacist - Slaton, TX

This opportunity is for skilled pharmacists to support inpatient care needs at a children's hospital near Lubbock, TX. Candidates will play a crucial role in providing expert pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Location:

• Slaton, TX (near Lubbock)

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication plans
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for efficient medication management
• Ensure adherence to all hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide expert guidance on medication therapy for pediatric patients

Qualifications:

• Current Texas pharmacist license
• Experience in an inpatient hospital environment
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams

This is a contract position starting in late July to early August, offering a well-structured 4-day workweek schedule. Candidates with solid inpatient experience and EPIC proficiency are highly valued.
