Pharmacist - Slaton, TX

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a pediatric inpatient setting.
• Manage medication distribution and ensure accuracy using EPIC and Pyxis systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for pediatric patients.
• Monitor and address patient medication needs during assigned shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Prior inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
• Pediatric pharmacy experience is an asset due to the specialized population.
• Ability to adapt to shift changes and maintain high standards of care.

Schedule:

• Night shift from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
• Work 7 days on followed by 7 days off.
• Position begins immediately with a 6-month contract.
• Transition to day shift anticipated around July/August to cover a pharmacist on FMLA, continuing through January 2027.
