Per Diem Pharmacist - Soddy Daisy, TN

An independent compounding pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage and ongoing support in the Chattanooga, TN area, including Soddy Daisy. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment processing roughly 1,000 compounds daily, ensuring quality care for patients who require specialized medications.

Schedule and Hours:

• Per Diem position with initial coverage needed May 27-29, plus ongoing availability
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
• Closed on weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, medication fills, and phone inquiries
• Oversee the mail order eye drop department, managing the shipment of three different formulations of post-cataract surgery eye drops
• Address and resolve questions related to medication orders and pharmacy operations to maintain smooth workflow and compliance

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ pharmacist experience
• Previous mail order pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage pharmacy technicians and workflow
