Per Diem Pharmacist in Sonoma, CA

Urgent need for skilled pharmacists to join a per diem team supporting retail pharmacy locations throughout the Northern California Bay Area. This role offers flexibility with on-demand shifts averaging 1-2 per week, ideal for pharmacists currently working part-time or seeking additional professional opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable pharmacy services at multiple retail sites, including well-known grocery chain pharmacies and healthcare distribution centers
• Open and close pharmacy operations efficiently
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate workflow and compliance
• Utilize pharmacy software systems including McKesson Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 to accurately process prescriptions and manage inventory
• Travel within the Northern California area to various pharmacy locations as needed; mileage reimbursement provided for travel over 30 miles one way

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience in managing pharmacy operations, including opening/closing procedures and technician supervision
• Flexibility to commute within the region and availability to cover 1-2 shifts per week on a per diem basis
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Retail pharmacy manager reference required on application
